• Biography

    Daniel Boccato was born in Campinas, Brazil in 1991. He received a BFA from Cooper Union School of Art in New York, New York. 

    Boccato's recent solo and group exhibitions include "ghost of" at Magenta Plains in New York, New York (2023); "ZONE" at Galerie Krobath in Vienna, Austria (2023); "69 parrotpaintings" at Berthold Pott in Cologne, Germany (2022); "the man the owl the lion the thing" at Formato Comodo in Madrid, Spain (2021); "Ehrenfeld" at Berthold Pott in Cologne, Germany (2021); "That That" at Galería Mascota in Mexico City, Mexico (2020); "A Winter Landscape" at The Journal Gallery in New York, New York (2020); "All of a Sudden" at Galería Mascota in Aspen, Colorado (2020); "documento" at Embajada in San Juan, Puerto Rico (2020); "Friends and Friends of Friends" at Schlossmuseum in Linz, Austria (2020); "HOMELAND III" at Berthold Pott in Cologne, Germany (2020); and "Multiple Visions" at Sorry we're closed in Brussels, Belgium (2020). 

    Boccato's work is held in public collections including KADIST in San Francisco, California; Schlossmuseum in Linz, Austria; and Van Buuren Museum and Gardens in Brussels, Belgium. 

    Daniel Boccato lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
