• Biography

    Justin Adian in Fort Worth, Texas in 1976. He received a BFA from University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and a MFA from Mason Gross School of Art at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. 

    Adian's recent solo and group exhibitions include "Carousel" at Lowell Ryan Projects in Los Angeles, California (2021); "Upclose" at CFHILL in Stockholm, Sweden (2021); "Lineup" at Almine Rech in New York, New York (2019); "Heaven on the highway" at Almine Rech in Brussels, Belgium (2018); "Analogue" at Loyal in Stockholm, Sweden (2018); "By Fire, Ceramic Works" at Almine Rech Gallery in New York, New York (2018); "Sun Tan" at Half Gallery in New York, New York (2017); "Gypsy Wagon" at Capital in San Francisco, California (2017); and "The Surface of the East Coast, from Nice to New York" at Le 109 in Nice, France (2017). 

    Work by Adian is held in the collection of the Dallas Museum of Art in Dallas, Texas.
