• Biography

    Yves Scherer was born in Solothurn, Switzerland in 1987. He received a BA from University of Lucerne in Basel, Switzerland, and an MA in sculpture

    from the Royal College of Art in London, United Kingdom.

    His recent solo and group exhibitions include "Summer Pastoral" at Patricia Low Contemporary in Gstaad, Switzerland (2025); "Another Day in Paradise" at The Journal Gallery in Los Angeles, California; "As It Is in Heaven" at Carl Kostyál in Stockholm, Sweden (2024); "Imagine" at Peres Projects in Seoul, Korea (2024); "Sunshine" at theStable in S-chanf, Switzerland (2023); "Eternity" at Galería Mascota in Mexico City, Mexico (2023); "Provence" at M. LeBlanc in Chicago, Illinois (2023); “Tennis Elbow 116" at The Journal Gallery in New York, New York (2023); and “New York Minute" at Galleri

    Golsa in Oslo, Norway (2023).

    Work by Scherer is held in numerous public collections, including the Portland Museum of Art in Portland, Maine; the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine; Kunstmuseum Olten in Olten, Switzerland; Kunsthaus Grenchen in Grenchen, Switzerland; and STOA169 in Polling, Germany. He

    is a recipient of the Swiss Art Award.
