• Biography
    Stephen Felton was born in Buffalo, New York in 1975. He received a BA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, Massachusetts and a MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in San Francisco, California. 
     
    Felton's recent solo and group exhibitions include "I arrived, I laid an egg, I left' at L21 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain (2024); "Bugaboo Voodoo" at La Villa du Parc in Annemasse, France (2024); "Bugaboo Voodoo" at Kunsthaus Biel Centre d'art Bienne (KBCB) in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland (2024); "Birthday Party" at Galerie Philippe Valentin in Paris, France (2021); "Stephen Felton" at FRAC Champagne-Ardenne in Reims, France (2020);  "City Housing," at Valentin in Paris, France (2019); "Soup" at The Journal Gallery in Brooklyn, New York (2016); "Peindre la Nuit" at Centre Pompidou de Metz in Metz, France (2016); "Beyond the Cartoon" at Artuner Cassina Projects in New York, New York (2016); "Carte blanche à Richard Fauguet" at FRAC - Limousin Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine Limousin in Limoges, France (2016); and "The Wind, Love and other Disappointments," at MAMCO - Modern and Contemporary Art Museum in Geneva, Switzerland (2015). 
     
    Felton's work is held in public collections including FRAC Champagne-Ardenne in Reims, France; and MAMCO - Modern and Contemporary Art Museum in Geneva, Switzerland. 
     
    Stephen Felton lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
